Donations
One Stop Advocacy is a social enterprise; that is, a business whose primary purpose is addressing a social challenge rather than creating profit for owners or shareholders.
This means that all the work done is to help people in some way, my ethos is ‘where any problem can be tackled’.
I tackle anything from accessing benefits, helping to deal with a complaint, sorting out debt, attending court, the list is endless. The majority of clients I work with are disabled, either physically, mentally or both.
One Stop Advocacy works on goodwill. The fees that are charged are very reasonable for the amount of work done, and by no means cover the cost of running the enterprise. In order to continue this valuable work, any donations are very gratefully received.
The donations are really a forward payment, so the work that is being done on your case is part-funded by a previous client’s donation. Your donation will then be used to fund the next client.
